I have done several moves in the past but never had such a bad experience. I called up several packers and movers to compare the price and services, Divyasree came up as being the moderately priced one. I deliberately avoided the lower quotes as I did not want to get into hassle for I was hard pressed for time. A well spoken lady (named Mili) gave me all the assurance that the packing and delivery would be excellent, that I would get delivery next day if not the day after that definitely. I specifically asked for quote inclusive of packing(materials thermocol , bubble wrap etc), moving, taxes and cess. she gave me a quote.
The fun part started after the guys came to take my goods, they did not bring thermocol as promised, asked me for a pillow to pack my 29 inch TV, when I refused I had to go thorough a 30 Min battle on the phone with a guy named Alok , finally they promised to give me free insurance on the TV and re-pack it suitably in their godown. After all the packing and loading was done I was asked to pay the quote price + taxes , when I said I had asked for price including the tax another battle ensued, when I refused to pay they accepted to take the quote price. The next day I got calls from Divyashrsree asking me to pay the taxes extra when I stuck to my position they agreed, but this did spoil a good part of my day.
My goods were not delived the next day or even the day after that , In fact it took 4 days and was delivered by some Surya movers at my destination address, they haggled for extra money there and caused a lot of grief, there was no extra re-packing of my TV. I went with this company because of all the positive reviews so though of warning unsuspecting victims , avoid like the plague. In the end I gave up after several phone calls and paid the extra money they asked for. I didn’t’ mind paying the extra money but was thoroughly disappointed by the way they tried to make extra money.
