*No. it doesnt really bring out the beauty of a person integrally. It is the Pageant per se thats able to bring out the beauty of the contest which interests the audience.
Joining beauty contests is an adventure- there’s something you can be proud of especially when you qualified for it. And it somewhat bring out the beauty of a person but not as a whole of course. for even contestants who joins Beauty Pageants has their own flaws and weaknesses- physically, emotionally, mentally and personality-wise.
When we talk about beauty, we always think of the hollywood icons and actresses, make-ups, physical looks, structure of the face, body build up, regimens, complexion- everything but physical. Some people thinks and believes that you are beautiful when you had your hair rebonded, skin pampered with a bleaching set, did some surgeries to lift the bottom, enhance the chest, nose job. etc.
You know what this is? it is called Artificial Beauty. And we are oriented by it because most icons, our so-called idols, supports and apply these kinds of pathetic regimens on themselves. And since we look up to them and wanted to be like them, we try. Some people are like that. Admit it, Its reality.
Nowadays, if you’re not sexy and dont look pleasing to the eyes of others, you are considered Ugly.
Unfair ha. Sad but true. And thinking about it makes me feel dismayed and disappointed.
People, mostly girls, are getting conscious everytime they see a flaw in them. I must admit. Im a girl too. But we must never forget that real and authentic beauty lies within. Its not achieved by some petty makeups or a body scrub treatment from the spa. not even achieved from the salons.
TRUE BEAUTY: You are considered beautiful if you have a heart of gold. Beauty isnt always about the looks, its more about the personality and perception of a person. A smart, kind and humble person with good sense of humor regardless of its physical state, is always beautiful. They shine and standout among those who are physically beautiful but has a rotten persona.
