Do Pageant’s bring out the Beauty of a woman?
No, I don’t think that they do that!
I think that most of the Girls/Women involved,
are looking for something. Approval, acceptance.
A need to be told that they are special!
Some of them, have been on this Beauty Circuit
as long as they can remember.
They were just Babies, when they were entered to compete
against other Babies.
As young little girls, They were made up with
Rouge/Lipstick, Big hair, the works.
It has become a way of life, to some of them,
Winning is all important.
Is this a good thing?. I don’t think so!
Don’t tell me, that a little girls heart is not broken.
When someone else gets the Prize!
What does that do to the child?
Does she now feel like a looser? Will the rest
of her life be affected?
And for what? Looks/Beauty?
Make no mistake, Beauty on the outside, is very nice!
Everyone would like to be Pretty, (Handsome).
But we hope that goes, Hand-in-hand with Inner beauty.
But lets face facts, Life is a bit easier,
if you are pretty!
Being pretty.Is just the luck of the draw.
(Or Gene Pool) Parents.
So why do we make such a big deal,
and reward someone, for something they
had absolutely nothing to do with?
Be grateful, if you are attractive,
its nice, and you are lucky!
Don’t Flaunt it over anyone.You didn’t earn it!
Sex sells, Money is made,
Women will always be exploited.
Men like to look at pretty Women!
Nature set it up that way.
We all get older, and our looks begin to fade,
If a woman has put too much emphasize on her looks,
when she starts to age.
She will become a very unhappy person,
unable to like herself,
because she never really knew herself!
Competition can be good, if its for something
that we had to strive for.
Like Education/Art/or other Talents.
But I don’t think that physical Beauty should be a Talent.
