In New York City, Stephen Strange, an acclaimed but arrogant "neuorosurgeon", loses the use of his hands in a car accident. Fellow surgeon and former lover Christine Palmer, firmly believing he can region use of his hands, instead uses all his resources pursuing experimental surgeries in vain. After learning of Jonathan Pangborn, a paraplegic who mysteriously was able to walk again, Strange seeks him out, and is directed by Kamar-Tej, There, Strange is taken in by another sorcerer under the Ancient One, "Mordo". The Ancient One shows Strange her power, revealing the astral plane an other dimensions such as the Mirror Dimension. Amazed, Strange begs her to teach him, and she eventually agrees despite his arrogance, which reminds her of Kaeclilius.
Benedict Cumberbatch as Stephen Strange: A neurosurgeon who, after car accident that led to a journey of healing, discovers the hidden world of magic and alternate dimension. Benedict described Strange as arrogant, with the film "about him going from a place where he thinks he knows it all to realizing he knows nothing" this character was amazing.
Chiwetel Ejiofor as Kari Mordo: A master of the Mystic Arts, close with the Acient One and a mentor to Srange. This character was very complex that, really, I don’t think can be nailed down either way.
Rachel McAdams as Palmer: A fellow surgeon of Strange. Christine was initially written as a love interest for Strange.
Benedict Wong as Wong: A Master of the Mystic Arts.
Michael Stuhlbarg as Nicodemus West: A rival surgeon to Strange .
Benjamin Bratt an Jonathan Pangborn: A paraglegic who learned how to heal himself under the Ancient One, to whom he directs Strange during the latter’s own journey of healing.

Mads Mikkkelsen as Kaecilius: A Mster of the mystic Arts who breaks off from Ancient One.
