Recently I have gone through a book of Sudha Murty called ’Dollar Bahu which has been my first book of Sudha Murty.
The very first thing I absolutely loved about this book was it’s so easy english writing. The book has been extremely easy to read for any non reader or impatient reader. I just finished readingb this book within a few hours in one fine afternoon.
The cover of this book is also attractive and it’s very affordable book also.
Now , comes to the story.
The story tells about the story of a family where two daughters in law were being treated extremely differently by their mother in law due to their financial status. The one daughter in law who stays in the USA and earns in dollar has high preference priority to her mother in law than the other daughter in law who stays in India and earns less. Though the one in India is much more familiar and does all the household tasks very very efficiently.
The story leads to the conclusion of the mother in law’s realisation of good or bad.
The story is not something out of the world but it is very very relatable and extremely entertaining.
I will give the book a good 4 star out of 5.
It will be highly recommended read and I hope you will enjoy it too.
