I wish to register my appreciation for TRUMP prepaid card service of Dolphin Cellular, the GSM service of MTNL. Before I subscribed to service on 14th Feb 04, I was told that TRUMP was no good. The network was bad and sms’s reached the recepient after 2 days or so. All lies, damn lies. The dolphin network on which the TRUMP card gets support has the finest network in Delhi.
The network is so strong that I have seen it working in basements where the network of all private operators drops. MTNL does not support the idea of sparkling adds for this service and hence it is not fully known to dilliwalas. Consider this- The talktime on every recharge card is much more than that provided by private operators. For example TRUMP gives Rs. 240/- talktime on its Rs. 324/- card whereas the private operators provide only Rs. 150/- worth time for the same.
SMS rates are lowest- Rs. 0.50/- for local sms, Rs. 1/- for national sms and Rs. 2.50/- for global sms. Call rates are bit cheaper than those of the private operators. If you recharge before the stipulated time, the balance time is added to the time provided by the new recharge card. Plus if you make Rs. 400/- worth calls on every calander month you are given a loyalty bonus of Rs. 50/- on next recharge. The roaming service is good.
A TRUMP subscriber can roam on the deadly BSNL network in Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan, MP, Chattisgarh, Gujarat, Maharashtra, West Bengal, H.P & Uttaranchal. MTNL and BSNL wish to cover all states of India shortly. It is at present to call the customer care but I hear MTNL proposes to increase more lines to the cutomer care.
At present TRUMP cards are available in black as there is a shortage of the same. By August there shall be moreof of these in the market. So, if you want to be mobile at affordable rates TRUMP prepaid card is the one you’re looking for.
