After a long hiatus, I m back on MS with my latest revu on the MOST SENSATIONAL AD of Year ----“ DOMEX – THICK.”
Wow! I could never imagine that HLL could pump so much money on producing this slick ad to boost the sales of thisDisinfectant Liquid Cleaner.
London based ad agency Lowe has created this commercial for Domestos (as it is called in other European countries) and it has been directed with CG Animations by Russell Brooke of Passion Pictures.
The Main Protagonist is a 3-D animated “MELTING GERM” who looks YUCKY, WEIRD, SCARY AND EXTREMELY UGLY ------ out to create Menace And Danger in this world.
As the story unfolds, The Melting Germ(Kitanoo) speaks (This is Hindi Version):
- A laughing sound is heard from inside a pot in a clean looking loo. It says“ Aap kuch bhi istamaal karoge to mujhe kuch nahi hoga. Koi problem nahi. .... aapko hogi ulti, bimaari ...
(No matter what u use, I have no problem. U are going to fall sick)
2.It speaks angrily of human beings ---Kitni baar aisi bewaakoofi karoge ...Ab domex laye ho!! par yeh meri haar nahi
(Oh ! No! How many times u are going to act foolishly………..So u have got Domex. But this is not my end……………………………..)
3. Nahi maroonga................These are the last words and the germ melts .

- ’’MARENGE KAROODON KITANOO MARENGE’’----DOMEX THICK , says the voice at the end as the Largest Bottle of Domex Thick is SLAMMED DOWN.
(Millions of germs will die---use domex thick.)
This ad is extremely AWESOMEand will give even X-Files a run for money. The special FX used to show the germ texture, the guzzling sounds and the camera work have given this commercial A DRAMATIC EFFECT.
