I had placed order for Dominos Pizza last week-end thru their website, which seemed quite user-friendly, minus some minor UI glitches. However, though I neither got the SMS confirmation nor the estimated time for delivery. The site just displayed the final billed amount (with an option to print !) and mentioned which outlet would service me, with their contact nos. However, after 30 min when I tried to follow-up with the concerned outlet, no one picked up the call. I called their Central Customer Care -44448888. The Executive asked me which outlet would service me and promptly transferred the call, which kept ringing some place.
Though I got the pizza delivered in about 45 min, I would have liked to have an SMS confirmation of my order, as well as contact details of the outlet on SMS. It is much more customer-friendly approach. Sure, their outlet could be busy on week-ends, but then they could post a disclaimer to that effect on their website, stating delayed service on week-ends etc.
Hope someone from the Dominos Pizza management reads this and takes some corrective measures, besides having a customer care which responds !!!
