Domino’s Pizza, a US-owned fast food chain, has outlets in a number of countries around the world including, the Us, UK, Singapore, Malaysia and India. My experience of this fast food group is limited to outlets in Malaysia. I have visited Domino’s three or four times and used their delivery service perhaps five times.
I give them high marks for hygiene, speedy service and quick response to orders. Their STEAMPOTRESTAURANTs are bright, breezy and very contemporary.On the other hand, I find their pizzas none too exciting and far inferior to the delicious pizza I have eaten in family run pizzeria in Rome, Florence.Siena and other parts of Italy or in Italian-owned pizza houses in UK, Germany and Singapore.
The pizzas at Domino’s can be bought in regular and family sets. A basic regular for 2-3 persons includes a regular pizza, two cans of Coca Cola or Sprite and either Garlic Twisty Bread or Garlic Cheese Roll. A basic family set comprises -for 4-5 persons- includes a large pizza, Garlic Twisty Bread, Garlic Cheese Roll, and 1.5 liter of Coca Cola or Sprite.

You can choose from a relatively wide range including Pepperoni, Aloha Chicken - Chicken Chunks, Pineapple and Extra Cheese-Ultimate Hawaiian, Veggie-Onions, Green Peppers, Mushrooms, Corn Kernel and Tomatoes- Meat Zza - Pepperoni, Beef Sausage , Ground Beef, Corn Kernel, and Chicken Chunks- Seafood Delight, Chicken Tandoori and ExtravanganZZa. Side orders at Domino’s include Garlic Twisty Bread, Chicken Wings with Barbecue or Hot and Spicy Sauce and various soft drinks.
Domino’s have a take-out and delivery service within selected areas and they offer RM5 off your order price if they are more than 30 minutes late ! Business hours are from 11 am to 11 pm.
This chain also have all sorts of promotions and offers. Eg, if you buy a Millennium 2001 Gold Card - it costs RM20 or US$5.20- you can get two pizzas (large size only) for the price of one.
Overall my view of Domino’s are that whilst they run an efficient operation and do provide a convenient and speedy service
