Its always been seen that we people always blame the government for each and everything, but there are some times we need to give credit to these government for the kind of work they are doing. Like in most of the offices you have one or 2 bad persons similarly in a government offices also there are also such people, the only problem is that the number is more. So keeping this aside let me introduce to you the official web site of the Indian Cricket, which has been made in association with Doordarshan and the so called convergence king NOW.
For me half the time I am in the office and as a cricket lover would definitely like to have be updated in fact would love to watch it live. Everything is on the net and I was looking for a live video coverage. Most of the cricketing website boasts of live commentary and coverage but none of them provide a Live video coverage. During the world cup one of the website use to give LVC (Live Video Coverage), but I don’t remember now.
So I was searching on the web and was surprised that our very own Doordarshan is giving live coverage. The site is really impressive because its an official website of the Indian Cricket.
The site design is really cool with nice use of colours and very easy to navigate. It’s pretty faster than the other cricketing sites. It’s got most of all the features which most of the other cricketing sites, like the news, teams, gallery.
It contains all the information related to the Indian teams and their ongoing tours. It’s all about the Indian team. No doubt after the disaster performance with the Aus no one would even think of wasting their time on the net watching Indian crumble, but definitely it is useful.
Though live coverage is pretty decent, if you have DSL or Leased line nothing like it. Even on dial up connection, it is okay no doubt sometimes there is congestion and you have break in the relay. I usually prefer real player but it was not working with real player and works fine on Windows Media player. But you have got both option of Real player and Windows media player.
It is simple and pretty decent. We should not always crib sometimes you need to appreciate the government to have such a move.
