I only watch Doordarshan when my cable is off. So apart from that I don’t even bother to knw wht’s programme it is going to play on a days. But still I really thank to DD for not running any K serials on their channel, And their serials r very good to watch. Their serials are common man oriented and I cannot see those in other channels.
Wht’s the best part is they don’t repeat the telecast again and again, likes of ZEE, STAR, SONY. So as DD does bring to me at times very informative like LokSabha Sessions and Live Sports matches. DD has a legacy which it’s still maintaining their news which is of 15min in Hindi and English. Which comes at 8pm to 8:30pm daily.And adding to it a 5min of Loksabha news wht happend all the day.
I still like watching subhsavera early in the morining at 8am. And a bit of theortical and practical classes about physics nd mathematics to school kids. So I really like their managing their programmes how nd when it has to shown. Though its a very old channel, but when ever I watch the channel seems to like to respect it and who will forget when it comes on 15 AUGUST nd 26 Republic Day.
So DD still rocks nd it has changed a lot as the generation have changed. It has become more effective nd informative, the only matter it has to look on their signals which r very weak, unlike Sony, ZEE and Star.
