The promos appeared slick but had a down-to-earth feel when I first had a look. The cover is almost able to spillout the whole story of the film and the lyrics of the songs in the inside pagesare just great way to grab your audience. Nagesh Kukunoor after IQBAL hassomething up his sleeves that will certainly make us think again as in hisprevious venture. Salim Sulaimaan after two hip movies OST like Neal and Nikkiand Kaal try their dexterous hands on such a different movie with revelation oftheir versatility.
Thealbum has a great track to start with “YehHonsla”, the first time I saw the promo and I just loved the song. Thelyric by Mir Ali Husain is just staggering, you couldn’t ask for such simplebut mind blowing composition by the musically gifted duo. The vocalist of Fuzona paki band, Shafqat Amanat Ali Khan has sung the song with such a feel whichis truly emotion arousing. Subsequently, we have “Imaan Ka Asar” by Sunidhi and Shreya. Simple lyrics very wellcomplimented by the earthy instrumentation. The lyrics are very well utteredand greatly woven in the feel good music. Next on the list is “Kesariya Balam” a typical Rajisthanifolk, sung very well by Karsan Sagathiya. The composers have proved theiradaptability by incorporating the classical and conventional instruments in thesong to give it the authentic Rajisthani sentiment. Next we have a Fluteinstrumental “Dor Theme” by RakeshChaurasiya. It is a small track if we consider the length but a soothing andrefreshing track at the same time.
Attrack 5 we have Pratichee singing “PiyaGhar Aaya “ a classical based song but amazingly composed to be slanted tothe sensation of the film. A fast track that holds all the elements which makesit a celebrated song, that is able to portray the richness of Rajisthaniculture. Next we have “Allah Hoo AllahHoo” by Salim Merchant. This isgood song that glorifies the greatness of Allah. This song has spellbindinglyrics for the one who really understands Allah. The song has a simple composition, arrangementand use of instruments but is totally able to flow the intended message. Nextwe have “Expression of Love” byTrilok Gurtu. This is a semi classical or even classical based song that isutterly likeable. A different tarak to be included in a film OST but thecomposers have successfully composed a masterpiece. The singer have perfectlyexpressed all the needed emotions to make the song complete. Last we again have“Yeh Honsla Sad”, Shafaqat hasuplifted the song with his poignant voice which makes the sad song even moretouching.
Onthe whole this is a must have album if you have a distinctive taste of music. Isay buying this album and listening to the whole album will make you want to goand watch the movie.
