Parents need to know that Doraemon is an anime series about a robotic cat who tries to be a good influence on a boy named Noby, who’s prone to laziness and bad manners. Kids will like Doraemon’s imaginative response as Noby’s character flaws surface, each represented in a futuristic gadget of some sort.
Even though Noby has a hard time learning the lessons Doraemon tries to teach him, kids will discern cause and effect with ease.
Some stories show people being threatened by large beasts, and a recurring character bullies Noby, but on the whole, the content is fine for grade-schoolers
