Akshay kumar and Bobby deol are good friends.
This movie is very close to Suneel Darshan, Akshay Kumar and Bobby Deol’s heart.
That’s why I wanted to watch this movie.
Story
The movie starts with a child named Karan(Bobby).He is very rich but lonely.His parents don’t give him much attention.He runs away and Raj(Akshay)saves him.
Raj is very poor and doesn’t have a home.Karan is stubborn and takes Raj to his home.His parents object but later they agree.
After the titles we see a grown up Karan and Raj.Both are graduated and looking for a job.Karan asks his father to give Raj a job at his office.Raj gets the job and wants to marry Anjalli(Kareena).Everybody is approves their relationship and want them to get married soon but Raj wants to marry at the same as Karan.
Karan did have lots of girlfriends but he didn’t find ’’the one’’.
Karan starts looking for ’’the one’’and he finds Kaajal(Lara) at Raj’s engagement party.Karan is ready to do everything for Kaajal and their love story begins.
Now comes the twist..An ex-girlfriend of Karan shows Kaajal a picture of Karan&her together in her bed.Kaajal thinks Karan has cheated on her and they break up.
Raj wants to postpone his marriage because Karan broke up.Anjalli gets angry and so does brother and her sister in law.Anjalli’s brother says some bad things about Karan and Raj hits him.After that Anjalli breaks up with Raj.
In the second half Kaajal forgives Karan and they decide to get married.
Anjalli marries somebody else and Raj is heartbroken.
Raj and Karan have a few problems Raj goes to Aditi.(Juhi chawla)She is his doctor and his best friend.
In the last scenes Karan and Raj’s problems are solved.
Performances:
Akshay as Raj is excellent.He proves that can do all type of roles.From comic roles to serious roles.
Bobby as Karan is excellent too.In Barsaat he was ok but now he’s very natural and convincing.
Kareena as Anjalli is ok.In this movie Kareena’s screen presence is limited to a few scenes and a few songs.She is good.I wish she had a bigger role
Lara as Kaajal is also ok.Lara is in this movie to add glamour.Her role doesn’t demand histronics.
Juhi as Aditi is good.Juhi has a small role too but she is natural and she looks very beautiful.
I hope Juhi gets leading roles too.
The cast includes: Kiran kumar, Shakti Kapoor and few other who lend able support.
Songs:
Almost every Suneel Darshan movie has great songs.
My favourites: Dulhania, Aur tum aaye and yaar di shaadi.
This movie is a bit predictable and slow.
Overall it’s a good entertainer
