I have relatively dry skin, even during the summer because of my frequent time outdoors, gardening, so I need something that not only keeps my skin soft, but isn’t harsh, or too ’’oily’’. I started using Dove about 15 years ago, and although I try new things from time to time, I always wind up going back to Dove.
My husband can tell a difference when I stop using it and start using something else. He personally doesn’t like using it because he says it won’t wash off him (He’s a die-hard Dial user), but he doesn’t like me using anything else.
I’ve never had to worry about allergic reactions to it (like I had with Irish Spring and Dial) and I can even use it to wash my face without worrying about it drying my face out.
I don’t even use an extra moisturizer for my face, and the only body lotion that I use is on my legs after shaving.
