I used Dove soap for a lot of years, I loved it; especially for my very dry skin nothing could compare. I would have and did recommend it to everyone. My doctor had recommended it to me 25 years ago when my children had exema and I had used it ever since. But about a year ago, they changed it from moisturizing CREAM to moisturizing LOTION....which is a watered down version.
Didn’t lower the price though did they? But around that time I noticed it just wasn’t the same...wasn’t as creamy or lathery as it used to be. and it didn’t quite do the job like it used to for my dry skin.
Still better than a lot, but just not up to par. I think if they want to skimp, and change a good thing then I’m changing too, to a different brand! and I have. I use Olay now with Shea butter.
