To tell you about the soap that I use in winter !! It is a mild most suitable for a delicate skin especially in winter months when the dry weather is harsh on your skin. As others mentioned it has very very mild fragrance that can help when you are allergic to strong fragrance. But I wonder why dove has not introduced a more fragrant version for consumers who will like it!! Apart from that it has a good moisturiser that will help you when your skin is dry and as a result it wont leave your skin dry like other soaps. It lathers well even in hard water. Only hard water is available in my city so it is based on my experience I am telling you.
But the only problem with Dove is that when the climate is hot and when it makes your skin more oily dove has little effect on that because it is mild. So till dove finds a solution for that using dove on oily skin is not advisable.
