I have been to Dr Batra for over a year, it’s not only a mistake it’s a blunder.
Reasons:
Firstly my hairloss is andreogenetic alopecia, which can’t be cured it can just
be controlled or progress can be stopped.
When I went there intially I had some kinda of fungal infection/dandruff instead
of suggesting me to use head and shoulders/nizoral shampoo they asked me
to use mild or herbal shampoo like nyle. And they have give some olive oil based
medication which actually agrevates fungal infection. All because some hopelessly
trained very low paid doctor saw my scalp with plain eye’s and determined
course of treatment.
Their treatment din’t stop hairloss, it just lost valuble time using their treatment.
After due research from american hairloss association, https://regrowth, https://hairlosstalk.com etc
there are only 2 proven treatments for hairloss bcoz of MBP/AGA
(First everyone must make sure if their hair loss is AGA which is ofcourse 90% of the time true)
- propecia: Very effective oral tablet, very costly for indian’s (3000Rs/- per month), has
some sexual side effects
- Rogaine: Minoxidil is the basic ingradient, so generic version is available from Dr.Reddy’s
for about 400Rs/- a month solution. 50% chance that it will growth reasonable
amount of hair (35count/sq.cm) and most likely it will stop hairloss.
So, my advice is if you know you have genetic hairloss just start using rogaine as early as
possible, you will grow some hair and possible return to the current state after 10 year’s
i.e. delay u’r baldness till you are in 40’s when it’s acceptable.
Nizoral shampoo could be added advantage as it’s a good shampoo and it has some
DHT inhibiting properties so will help with rogaine regimen.
Please note rogaine is a life long commitment, you have to keep using till you want hair.
Use only 5% soultion.
Do u’r research from good websites, just get u’r dandruff, etc checked and then go
with the above treatments.
Laser treatment from hairmax has some benifit’s proven and approved from canada
and singapore etc, but not yet in usa so if you have 20000/- to spend do add it as a
suppliment to rogaine.
