I was recommended by a friend of mine. I had mild but frequent asthma attacks. Coming to bangalore increased the frequency. Had to take upto 4 or 5 inhalations per day. I was at the beginning hesitant to pay the amount (8900rs) and that too in one shot. This attitude did worry me because it reflected the negative reviews wriiten about Dr Batras.
Anyway, I paid the amount on August 2008. Appointments are once in a month. They give you homeo tablets for each month. Its been almost 4 months now and I already feel a lot better. Inhalations reduced to 3 or 4 per month especially in this cold climate. They send sms updates regarding your appointments. You can get late , you still have your appointments. I hardly stay with the doctor for 10 min. They mainly asked me how I felt each time. They take a note of it all. I liked the approach. Straight forward and simple and quick.
Dont expect a "hospital experience". No extra charges have to be paid other than the initial 8900rs. No Xrays, no tests nothing. Just plain talk. So better keep a watch on your health for the entire month and make sure you tell them all..
I was treated by Dr Sabreen and now by Dr. Tenny.
Before the payment was made I was counselled by another doctor (probably meant for couselling only, not sure) that my asthma was a mild one and 3 years would suffice to make me resistant.
1 year to reduce the frequency and severity of asthma.
1 year to to keep this healthy condition stable.
And 1 year more to make me resistant.
Im perhaps lucky that the treatment is working for me and im definitely going for the complete 3 years. Your medical insurance could claim this whole amount I guess. Better get in touch with your insurance people.
I havent tried this as I dont have a med insurance. Homeo medicines takes time but is effective just like ayurvedic ones. So whatever it is I would suggest that you stick to completing one year and then judge the effects and do make a review here :) ..
Good Luck!!
