I visited Lal Path Lab at Malibu town on Sohna road in Gurgaon, the condition of infrastructure and cleanliness is deplorable , found statues of gods with incense sticks ( big No..No..in any lab or operation theatre) , floor tiles with deep joints accumulating dust and muck providing perfect place for breeding of bacteria , test tubes for blood collection kept right at the entrance on top of the fridge covered with dust , a very basic wooden partition which is not adequate to cover view of the patient while giving blood.
No dispaly of certificates , license, rates and policy etc.The smoke detector still has a dust cover thus non functional , sprinkler has a fan under it thus will not be effective in case of a fire , I can go on forever... The exterior are equally bad , paan spit stain at the entrance , temporary iron steps to go down to the lab are unfit and unsafe for the old patients.
I seriously doubt creditability of the Cap , NABL and ISO agencies who have accredited this lab.Come on guys wake up and do not dish out certifications for a fixed payment , do your job of inspecting facilities before issuing and also after issuing your certifications.
