I have been going to this hospital quite frequently primarily because its just close and convenient. The doctors and their treatments have never been very good but till now have not exceptionally bad too. But the last few times have shifted the needle from bad to worse.
Last month, my 5 years old son was recommended nebulisation along with steriod injections for a cold situation. I went ahead with nebulisation and avoided steroids for 2 days while I was away travelling and once back took him to his regular pediatrician. I was shocked to discover from the real doctor that there was nothing wrong in his chest at all and the problem was in throat. Thank god I avoided the recommended steriods atleast.
The latest experience is with Dr Oliver whom I consulted when I was unwell last week. The non-chalant nature in which he treats patients is worth seeing to believe. I had been suffering for 2 days and went to him in an absolutely bad condition with sever throat infection. One look at my throat and 1 and half minutes of examination and prescription is all I get for the 400 rupees of consultation fees.
He gave me a light dosage of medicines and when I told him that I was in bad shape and needed something stronger, he whisked me away saying all will be fine in a days time. I spent another night in pain to finally land upto Sakra Hospital and get a real consultation and medical attention.
This hosital is worst ever and I would not recommend even my enemies to this place. Please keep away from them.
