Just bought a new copy of Dragon NaturallySpeaking Preferred 10 wireless (now comes with a Plantronic Calisto Bluetooth headset) from ICONS.
I think it’s by far the best product Nuance has ever developed.
Natural commands is very welcomed, so new users don’t have to remember the exact command.
It’s more faster & atleast 20% more accurate then 9.
Now training time reduced to literally 4-5 minutes. Amazing accuracy with my local Indian accent.
You don’t have to change your accent or way of talking, speak naturally with your normal pace, it delivers amazing results.
One of the major extensions to the command set of DNS 10 is the ability to work with search engines, such as Google, Yahoo!, Being able to say “Search the Web for Amitabh Bachhan” or “Search maps for Thai restaurants in Mumbai” – commands that open your web browser and run your default search or map engine with the details you’ve spoken – is getting that bit closer to computer interaction on the bridge of Voyager.
I wonder in few years will dragon be able to transcribe your thoughts?.
Needs minimum 512 MB RAM (Recommended 1 GB RAM).
