Momma Likes Me in This

There comes a time in the life of all relationships when you begin to take your liberty with certain aspects of sharing likes and dislikes. You talk about food and movies and a hundred other things, and maybe you smell each other in the course of dating, maybe you are talking on the net, but favorite scents are bound to come up.

For LaNae and I that time came during our first romantic weekend together. She and I have known each other for nearly thirty years, having gone to school together since we were children, and then keeping in touch one way or another for a long time. At the beginning of this summer, we began to share more secret feelings, more serious inclinations, and much darker secrets. She came down to visit for a weekend in the summer, and our lives have never been the same.

I blame the Drakkar.

I love this woman, don’t get me wrong, I am quite thrilled with the fact that this scent sets her off. She noticed my little bottle during the trip, and commented that she really liked it, and then we were grocery shopping and she smelled it, and not on me...much to my chagrin. Well when we got back I put some on, and every time I have done so since then, I have gotten some very hot kissing, and more later, delightful more. She says that when she smells that smell, she can feel herself throb to a certain degree.

Drakkar is a musky kind of smell, dripping with Berries and promises of the night. The company describes it as a Lavender based scent, which makes sense to me as I adore Lavender and obviously so does my partner. This is a cologne that was created by Guy Laroche in 1982, and is modestly priced.

You can find Drakkar at most anywhere that sells colognes for a price range of $20-$50 dollars depending on the bottle size and intensity. The bottle is black and slightly oval in shape, and I like to wear it usually as a work cologne, but now as a nighttime treat.

I have to say that this receives my highest recommendation, but it is a very strong scent, so don’t over do - some might find the smell over bearing in quantity. Throw a little into your chest hair and let the fun begin!
