Dreamtel is dying a slow death

There used to be a time when Dreamtel started it’s services in Punjab to everyone’s delight. They used to be courteous, helpful, knowledgeable and their services were really good. From technicians to the customer care team, everyone used to be good enough.

Unfortunately, in the past one year, dreamtel’s standards have fallen dramatically. In its quest to become a more disciplined organization(is it so?), the leadership of dreamtel has forgotten that customers are the back bone of any business. True, all businesses are made for profit but that profit must not come at customer’s expense. Expansion of services in the past few years(ironically, due to good service) has made the management arrogant, customer care executives are now least concerned about customers, least courteous and most of all, least  knowledgeable. It is common now to have your feedback ignored. They simply wouldn’t give a damn. After all, you are but just another bloody customer.

If ever the services go down even for many days, the technical team is as clueless as a frog is about the size of the universe. You feel like laughing at them. The customer care reps want you to ask the question’how do I close this connection for good?’ and they are willing to answer it every time with all the knowledge they can muster, but no, not a word about what actually matters. They will change the plans suddenly and make them cheaper to face the competition, but the old bloody customers who are sitting on the old costlier plans continue to pay more because they didn’t know about it. On asking them, you receive the golden answer’It’s a customer’s responsibility to be aware of the new plans’. Idiots(oh, the customers). One more thing, at the beginning of every month, four days of slow internet eats away all the delight. This is the time when you don’t get what you pay for. You get slow internet because speeds reset during this time.

I have so much to write. I have so much to complain. But it’s all a waste of time. They don’t care. I used to be attached with this company wholeheartedly because it was good one time. Not any more. Now it’s just a bunch of profit making heartless people who don’t give a damn.
