British Pubs

Pubs in England, are quite a bit different from

Bars in america.

British pubs are a cozy place to be.

they serve  some food, sandwiches and meat pies,

along with beer and other alcohol drinks.

The Atmosphere is really friendly,

sort of local folks who know each other.

My Father used to play,

Darts, & Dominoes, with friends there.

It had sort of a~Club Atmosphere~

The Country Pubs, apart from being very Quaint

and Rustic. Were more for the Family.

They had Tables outside.,

My Father would go inside and bring out

Lemonade for us children.

{We were Not allowed inside}

It was nice for a Sunday afternoon

in the Country.

Weekends, The Ladies would join the men

at the Local(Pub) and chat with each other.

If any singing was done,

It would be a Customer singing.

Dress was everyday wear.

I am sure that today, Pubs are a Lively place,

with a more cosmopolitan Look.

Lots of Music and Much younger Crowd.

But There is nothing as wonderful as an

Old English Country Pub.With all its Charm

This Review, is based on my own experience, as a child,

in the 1940-50 era.
