Pathetic After Sales Service

Hi All,


I hold 2 Mutual funds with DSP from 7 years. I am happy, my investment was fruitful.


Recently, I planned to redeem my MF Folios, n then I had my bad experience.


I took a leave and went to DSP branch https://m.mouthshut.com/Liberty rel="nofollow" target="_blank" >@Liberty Hyderabad, 35 km from my place, unfortunately its branch is shifted to Somajiguda from Oct 26th onwards. My bad.


I submitted’Change of bank mandate’, attaching my cheque, provided ID proofs, address proofs, gave photo everything which they asked for.Today I received a mail saying,  ’We regret that the request for change of bank mandate could not be carried out due to reason Original Cancelled Cheque / Certified copy of bank Passbook / Bank Statement has not enclosed’


Are you kidding me? I took a leave, went to branch, submitted cancelled original cheque, and now I received such a mail. Pathetic service. I learnt a lesson, when you need money, these offline MF providers will make sure you do not receive them on time.


Going forward, I would invest thru sharekhan. I sincerely suggest, no one to approach agents for taking MFs, as they fill incorrect information and then you have to suffer, to get your details updated.(even after you provide a copy of all your docs).
