I’ve bought Honey & Almond Natural Glycerine Body Cleansing Bar from shopclues.com on 27th Jan 2014 and was eagerly waiting to receive it. I started to track it on DTDC tracking and I was shocked to find the tracking updates as follows:

Destination: ANANTAPUR.(Andhra Pradesh)
The shipment travel history says as it was booked twice on the same day at Delhi and Bangalore. Next traveled to Amritsar(Punjab) and again back to Delhi Next to Hyderabad, and back again to Amritsar and again to Delhi and reached ANANTAPUR and again traveled to Ambala.(Haryana)
Next Ludhiana and finally now at Varanasi(Uttar Pradesh). I read often times on newspapers that letters reach the original destination after many years BUT DTDC breaks all records by transporting a courier to these many cities in a span of 3 days!
I’m still in a confusion if it is true that this courier traveled to all those places? or is it a discrepancy in entering the travelog data! If its NOT a discrepancy it is a real wonder! If it is a discrepancy, this can happen at one city’s DTDC facility BUT NOT at every city’s DTDC facility!
Many of us might NOT have heard of FedEx, Bluedart-DHL etc a decade ago. But now a days these courier companies are everywhere expanding their customer base to 2nd grade towns as well. Thats their success story! Its all QUALITY which drives their business. Its time DTDC needs to take a leaf from international courier services like FedEx, Bluedart-DHL etc on how to improve their customer base with QUALITY services rather than expanding DTDC to as many as 14 countries worldwide.
Hope DTDC understands the saying QUALITY first QUANTITY next!
