If the inefficiency, indifference, lethargy are to be attributed to a courier service in India, DTDC-India will shine and take away the honors!
With the spurt in online shopping, online stores/sites, barring Flipkart, have to dispatch items through couriers as they do not have their own logistics. In less than 6 months I had a misfortune in few such sites sending items through M/s. DTDC.
On 7th July 2012, through their tracking page I learned that goods bought by me had arrived at their Ghatkopar Br and were shown as "Shipment Dispatched for Delivery" . However, the item was delivered to me only on 10th July, 2012. Please note that the distance between their Ghatkopar Br. and place of delivery is only 10 KM.
Again it happened this very month whern an external battery pack booked on Tradus.com took more than 7 days to arrive and out of that 7-8 days the item was lying at their Ghatkopar Br for 4-5 days.
And the latest one is yet to be delivered (as of 25th Nov 2012, 21.30Hrs). Now see for yourself:

Such is the height of indifference shown by the said courier. May be their Ghatkopar Br responsible for this. But as a customer my finger will be raised towards DTDC.
