I would like to share my review on why I feel DTH is better than Digital Cable
I have a 55" Full HD LED TV, and I was looking for HD STB from various operators DTH and Cable.
I wanted to go for DTH as its already has large number of Channels is both SD and HD, and due to its very good service, like EPG/VOD, etc.
I asked a friend who already has a HD STB about which service to opt for, he said take a digital cable connection.
I went and called by Cable operator, as asked him for HD STB Demo. He said there is no stock of the STB and it will come soon. I waited for 3 months yet the stock didn’t come.
I asked a friend who was using that STB about the service, he said that the service is gone bad, and there is frequent signal issues and pixelation. The PQ and AQ also was turned bad.
I then decided to take DTH as the technology is more advanced.
I payed Rs 2000 and I got the HD STB with a month free package. All SD and HD channels
The software/UI was very good and channel changing speed was fast. EPG was very good.
The package selection is very easy and the customer care are very fast and helpful.
