Hey, I came across this really funny website, Dumblaws.com!
Created by the minds of Andy Powell and Jeff Koon, who probably went to a lot of trouble and time looking all this up!
Dumblaws.com is exactly what the name depicts. It offers up some really obscure, outdated and just plain stupid and funny laws from all over the United States and many other countries as well.
Did you hear about the law in California that states that lizards have the same legal rights as dogs? Or the New Orleans, Louisiana law that says it’s illegal to chain your alligator to a fire hydrant? How about the law in Alabama which says the it’s illegal to maim yourself for purposes of getting attention or alms?
These are just a few.
