Wonderful movie

Dunkrik is a wonderful portrayal of the Battle at Dunkrik and the subsequent evacuation of more than 300, 000 thousand English and Allied from Dunkrik. The director, Christopher Nolan’s well-written, crisp script, superb cinematography by Hoyte Van Houtema and the musical score by Hans Zimmer have managed to captivate audiences. The story follows three aspects of Dunkrik covering the different time periods: the narrative on land which occurs over a week, the narrative on sea which occurs over a week and the narrative in the air which occurs over an hour. Nolan’s research and eye for detail can be seen through his use of boats that participated in the actual evacuation and airplanes of the World War II era. He had beautifully captured the feelings of desperation and utter chaos amongst the fear-stricken soldiers at Dunkrik without using many dialogues. The acting is nothing exceptional through Harry Styles’ performance comes as a suprise as his execution is actually nail-biting action scenes will surely make you sit at the edge of your seat. This movie will hit you with the scenes where soldiers have to brave various odds to reach home and the wave of relief that washes over them as they see civilian boats coming to their rescue. The film tells us how the situation at Dunkrik changed the soldiers drastically, drove then to the point of desperation and made them endure various horrors. It is a beautiful portrayal of the race for the survival of the fittest, to escape from enemy hands and the desperate measure soldiers were forced to take.
