I am the genuine Two Face . . . . The guy Tommy Lee Jones played in the movie . . . . I am his living form . . . . I like God, dont play dice, but I play both parts in this war. I am my sinister evil clone, whichever way you look at me, I am ME and ME, the paperback lover(The book reader equivalent of Devdas) and the E-Book freak(the real life clone of a love struck Mr. Fantastic, who loves his wife and his PDA). The ME can never make peace with the ME.
ME: The Paperback is the thing to have. When you are holding one in your hands, there is this soothing feeling in your nerves that tingles and tampers with your mind .
ME: The E-book, it lasts forever and you dont have to worry about silverfish and termites. Put on a CD for your system, a SD Card for the PDA and a Micro SD for the Cell phone and Voila, instant reading gratification
ME: You can roll into a ball in the couch or bean bag, with a plate of moms handmade crisps or a bag of chips and you can stay that way in rhythmic peace for hours. You might live in a high rise in the middle of a concrete jungle, but the paperback will take you to your own Eden.
ME: You can roll up your socks, start an SQL query and quietly read away and your boss and colleagues wont even know that Gollum is a sneaky thief.
ME: Think of rain, think of an open window with that intoxicating smell of rain, a hot sip of coffee, a warm comforter around your shoulders, with your toes curled and your book in a hand and an arm around the sleeping girl.
ME: You are a technical consultant. Sales figures and market shares make no sense to you, let that bald and round, vice president of the consumer division rant away, while Michael Corleone gets his revenge.
ME: Every time you turn a page and go to the next line, you have a sub-conscious sharp breath intake and your mind does a flip for a nanosecond. You are willing to take a dagger to the throat of anyone who dare interrupt your automated and precise motion of turning a page.
ME: This is a business trip. You paid that exorbitant price for that sleek notebook bag, so you travel light and still carry everything. The PDA has enough storage space to fit half a good library. The E-Book will change your business to a different business. Putting together that network map(a business), is just a break for your fingers in the middle of a PDA read(The actual business).
ME: Cant write much more because ME is strangling ME and ME can’t still decided which is better for ME.
