E – Nothing new in E except the basestory line. I don’t want to write moreon this film. I think it’s enough to mention some points about this movie.
1. R B Choudary – Successful producer in the past, introduced many new debut directors. But he is not successful in the recent days. He always focuses on good screenplay. But he missed it in ‘E’.
2. S. P. Jhananathan - director of this movie, who’s EYARKAI got an award for the best feature film in tamil of 2003 for a rich visual portrayal of a love story set against a unique canvas. In this film also, he created a unique story line, but missed at the screenplay. If he focused more on Kalyanakrishnan’s screenplay, it might be a hit film. We already saw many movies with villians making money with some weapons like guns and aruvaa. In this movie, director replaced these guns and aruvaa with biological weapons to make money. That’s the story.
3. Jeeva – Such a great performance from him. He is improving his performance in each of his films. He acted as a slum-dweller with no makeup on his face and his performance is really good. Screenplay has helped him a lot to do comedies.
4. Nayandara – just for heroine role. That’s it. If u watch this movie, tell me whether she is a muslim or hindu in this movie. At the beginning of the movie, jeeva asked her about her caste. She told that she would say after. Believe me, she didn’t say anything to Jeeva till the end of the movie. It seems that somebody should tore this answer from the dialog book or it should be editors mistake.
5. Karunaas, Ashish Vidhyarthi – No difference in their acting. There is no comedy for Karunaas.
6. Srikanth Deva – No comments. Just hear his songs.
