I had visited Eagleton Resort during a week end. I had booked for Holiday Package by calling them up. It was good to have couple of calls from them before the planned date for confirming my arrival. But, when I reached there, driving in their campus for a long distance, looking for sign board/directions, I had to face several questions at the reception desk to confirm that I had booked. It appeared as enquiry desk.
There was no pleasant greeting/welcome I could trace on anybody at the desk. We had to request for assistance to move our baggage to the room I booked.The accomodation is ofcourse, very nice. We felt relaxed looking at well furnished, clean accomodation.The food was okay sorts! No option elsewhere! All the food that is included in the package is just sufficient to "somehow" deal with hunger; absolutely not to enjoy!! We tried ordering something else, and burnt out fingures!!
Very expensive food and very expensive tips too!! If you do not tip the bearer in good amount (atleast Rs50) they do not care next time you go to the restautant for food. Overall, It is a good place, nice environment. But, help yourself!! People are greedy, have no service motto. Carry sufficient snacks and drinks. If you have won this package thru some offer/lucky dip, I recommend, drop off the idea to visit
