I went to this programme which ’’shkti’’ themsleves call ’’Remember Shakti’’.
First half : Srinivas, Selvaganesh, Zakir Hussain and John Laughlin created MUSIC......No they created MAGIC....No it was DEVINE MUSICAL MAGIC. John McLaughlin makes Guitar sound like Flute....He is unmatched.
Second half : We thought nothing could be better than the first ...but......Enter Shivkumar Sharma and Sivamani .....what can I say...they created SUPER DEVINE MISIC?...HEVEANLY DEVINE MUSIC?....SUPER HEVEANLY DEVINE MUSIC?...I am still falling far far far short of being able to describe the experience.
BUT WAIT....there is more...ENTER Shanker Mahadevan, Vinayak, Iqbal Qureshi...............................................................
