East West Institution

Being a part of East West Group of Institutions, education is the not up to the mark.

I have completed my diploma engineering from EWP(East West Polytechnic) in 2015, and I feel contrite to say that it lacks in proper education. Teacher staffs were not highly qualified and lack in teaching skills. It was difficult for non Karnataka students to cope with as they mix English with kannada language while teaching. This is one of the major problems faced by the outsiders.

Apart from teaching department, the campus life is good. The college campus is about 21 acres, which includes playing ground, basket ball court, canteen, parking space, etc.

The courses offered are B.tech Engineering, diploma engineering, M.tech, BBA, BCA and nursing.

B.E engineering fields includes Mechanical, Computer Sc. engineering, Electrical and Electronics engineering, Aeronautical engineering and Civil engineering. The labs are equipped with new machines and properly maintained.

Talking about the academic progress, it’s been good compare to the last few years. They promise above 75% placement records which is deficient.

The good part about the college is it’s extracurricular activities which includes inter-college cricket leagues and basketball leagues. Students also participates in football and volleyball sessions. The colleges also organizes cultural fest and technical fest to light up the students.

The college provides boarding facilities to the students who belong from outside. The hostel is big enough to provide rooms for more than 300 students. But the food taste and quality are to be worried about. Each floor has two washrooms big enough and clean. According to me, East West Institution comes under average zone.
