I tried some non vegetarian biryani at Eat on civil lines in Allahbad and I really found the biryani to be just average, And not upto the mark as the hype was there where everyone suggested me to eat at Eat on. A full plate biryani costed me somewhere around 100 rs which was cheap enough with 2 good big peices of chicken, But trust me on this that the quality of chicken was not so good.
The chicken was chewy and it felt that it was not fresh I have had a lot of biryanis and the chicken that breaks open to give marble white flesh is the best, But over here it was not the case.
Also the masala used to prepare biryani was really strong al nd not so subtle and flavourful if you are a person who eats non spicy food you are sure to get hickups after eating this birynani.
I really liked the plates though in which they serve and the chutney, The staff is also really good but I did not like the biryani, Being brought up in delhi we have had biryani at such amazing places that now the standards and the taste I need has gone really high.
