Best book for time management

In my opinion books are boring but when I find eat that frog by brain tracy, it completely changed my life about the time management. this is one of the best book in the market about time management I would recommend this book to my all yelder and younger friends, if you are conscious about your precious time you have to definitely read this book.


This book gives you important knowledge about time management how to remove procastination in your life, how you can use Or manage your time.


Having a knowledge about time management in advance is amazing you can well utilise your time in good manner.


In this book brain Tracy tells 21 principles about how can you well utilise your time and these principles were:

  1. Set the table- stop listening to others who directly or indirectly tell you how to live your life only you know what is best for yourself and your contribution, use a task list to manage your your day.

  2. Plan each day in advance- plan the next day at the end of the current day.

  3. Apply the 80/20 rule- 20% of your activities will account for 80% of your result.

  4. Considered the consequences-develop long range thinking , increase your level of awareness.

  5. Practice the ABCDE method- A= very important, highest outcome, short and long term, B= you should do that has mild consequences , c= it is nice to do but there are no consequences , d-something that you can eleminate to someone , which free up time for your to work your A, E= is something you can eliminate because it makes no difference at all.

  6. Focus on key result area -what do you bring to the table ? what can you pass and to others today ?

  7. Obey the law of forced efficiency -what is the most valuable use of the time right now.

  8. Prepared thoroughly before you begin- create a workspace that you will enjoy working in and which bring out the highest level of productivity in you.

9.Do your homework- learn what you need to do take action.


10.Leverage your special talent- identify your unique skills and commit yourself to becoming good in these areas.

  1. Identify your key constraints -what is holding you back in things people situation .

12.Take it one oil barrel at a time- take the first step , break down into smaller, step action create clarity.


13 .Put pressure on yourself- while it is good to have accountability you also need to develop self accountability.


14.Maximize your personal power- physical, mental , emotional energies make up your personal performance and productivity so guard and nurture your energy level.


15 .Motivated yourself into action-learn what motivates you and use this aspects as tools.

  1. Practice creative procrastination- everyone is procastination but is you are going to do it, do it on something that is still going to move forward.

17.Do most difficult task first -you have more energy and will power in the start .


18.Slice and dice the task -take a project and Break It Down to multiple task focusing on one task at the time .


19.Create large chunks of time- if you don't take control on your time other will do it for you, block the time in your schedule.

  1. Develope a sentence of urgency- flow state, adjust your ideology surrounding urgency.

21 .Single hand every task- practice focus of will and doing only one things at a time till completion.
