E bayWorst customer care/grievance officer

I ordered lumia 2520 and paid all the amount based on suggestion by e bay customer care who recommended a top rated seller and product was to be shipped in 4 days when I ordered.On the day of shipment received a request from the seller that he needs extension.


When I called the seller to know what is the guarantee that it will be shipped on the extended date, the seller(he is the top rated seller) started talking in very rough manner and I hung up the phone and he again called and started using F.words. I reported all these to e bay customer care team and their supervisor and also reported the same to their grievance officer through mail. I tried to contact the grievance officer by phone but he never replies and left voice message but no reply.


Meanwhile the seller started sending SMS saying that he will cancel the order only if I give a positive review for which I did not answer.This was also reported to their customer care team but their reply was a sweet talk saying I will receive the product.


The whole team is clueless how to address to such problems. Height of the point is that one of the phone number of the grievance officer mentioned on website is not a working number at all. Ebay never does any background check on their sellers and it seems their sellers are street side thugs.


Never do any business through e bay. Their sellers force u to give positive comments to increase their business.
