Got the worst from Ebay (seller is Azone2016)

On 05/07/2017, I ordered a Mobile, Redmi Note 4 from Ebay.in where the seller was Azone2016. As the mobile got out of stock in Flipkart I thought Ebay can be a choice. Some of my colleagues advised me not to pick up Ebay, but I thought the site can be trusted. I ordered the product by paying Rs. 13999. Later I saw the same  product available in other sites at a price of Rs. 12999. However, as it was my decision I did not think of cancelling the order. Later I found that even CANCELLATION OPTION IS NOT AVAILABLE IN EBAY.IN SITE UNLIKE IN OTHER E-COMMERCE SITES. The SELLER was AZONE2016 of Delhi. I received the product on 08/07/2017, quite fast. I opened the pack, recharged the battery and started checking its feature. Hardly I had used it for 1 hr, the mobile got shutdown automatically. Then it never got switched on. I wrote to Ebay for refund for this defective product. Ebay.in promptly rejected my claim advising me to see the Mi Service centre for Warranty Service and contact the seller directly. I contacted  AZONE2016, the seller, through several mails. They replied to my mails in a round about manner. Sometimes asked me to send a video, sometimes returning back the mobile(It is not possible for a buyer to send back the mobile through any courier as they can not accept the goods unless they get a pick up request from the seller. This is a Govt. rule) . I first sent a video showing how the product was not working. Then I approached the courier, FEDEX,  to send the mobile back, but they did not accept it as they needed a pick up request. Then I wrote to Azone2016 about the issue. They also rejected my request for pick up for refund. They had not sent me any INVOICE along with the mobile. I got very much frustrated. Lastly I visited the Mi Service Centre to get Warranty service. They checked the mobile to found that I have got an old piece. They denied to provide me the warranty service as the product was not entitled for that. Even I had no valid Invoice. I got a jolt. I had never imagined that I will get an old mobile from Azone2016 by paying money higher by Rs. 1000 than the price of a brand new one. I again wrote several times to Ebay and Azone2016. Ebay always replies to resolve the issue in next 48-72 hrs. That 48-72 hrs has become an unending process as in the next reply they also mention the same. AZone2016 accepted that  they have sold an old one. I asked them why they sent me an old one whereas I had ordered for a new one and that to by Rs 1000 higher . They are unable to justify it. Later I found that they are silent on the front display about the product type so that all the buyers can buy their products assuming it as new one. Once you click on the products then only  it shows that it is a refurbished one. Azone2016 is a seller on Ebay who slyly sells  many old products at a price same or even higher than  price of a new one. As the buyers are unaware of it, they are easily get cheated. Now neither Ebay is listening me nor Azone2016. It is 23 days past. That defective mobile is only occupying a space but of no use. My money got lost. As I had to gift it to my nephew I bought another one. I complained to the consumer forum, but it is  still pending for any action. Now I have decided to take up all the social networks and media so that people like me can be aware of Ebay and Azone2016. If someone buys a costly product in lacs from Ebay/Azone2016 his/her fate may become even worse. Now I have understood the importance of choosing a right site and a right seller.
