I needed to buy a new mobile charger since the charger provided along with my lenovo k5 stopped working. After doing some research I decided to buy MI charger 2A. Usually I buy products online through Flipkart and Amazon. But MI charger was not available in either of the sites. I tried to buy it from mi website and in mi showroom in forum mall, but unfortunately it was out of stock everywhere. Finally I browsed through eBay and found a product with the name ’Original xiomi mi charger with usb cable’. The seller was from Ludhiana and was tagged as ’Top rated seller’. I was finally convinced and ordered the product for 380rs using my credit card.
I was tracking the package regularly in eBay site and the package was delivered to my residence three days late. Once I got the package, I immediately opened it to check its contents. Both the chrging adapter and usb cable were present as expected. I tried charging my mobile and it worked fine. The build and finishing quality of the adaptor and USB cable was not good, so I decided to check if it is fake or not by comparing it with an original one. So I got original mi charger from the Friend and compared both. I was shocked to see that the item I ordered in eBay dint have the ’MI logo’ whereas the original charger had it. So I concluded it was fake and immediately contacted the seller for refunding. But the seller was too rude and he said that refund is not feasible, only replacement is possible and he would send the same( fake) item again. Though the fake chrger worked pretty well I was astonished since it may damage my mobile or tab battery. So currently iam not using it.
