I am regular buyer at eBay with more than 40+ reviews. Around Diwali I ended up buying three blender from a seller in Amritsar through ebay. Now these blender were broken, seller was not co-operative, so I raised the issue under paisapay protection, after alot of message exchanged with seller on that platform, ebay finaly asked me to courier it back and send the scanned receipt to them.
I did the same and scanned copy was sent to eBay, 3 days after item got delivered to seller and I also got the call from ebay, initially eBay said you didn’t send the item back. I told them that I have sent it back to receipt is sent to them. after seeing my mail, the executive said sorry for miss understanding and your refund will be processed soon.
Now, once I didn’t received the refund after 30 days, I called ebay, they say they didn’t received the receipt at all.
I am attaching proof of sending item back, so that you all know that do not trust paisapay guarantee.

Finally I got the money, Till date it has never happened that I lost money on eBay. But this was one of worst experience, as I had to fight for refund. But this was one off incidence from around 90 purchases on eBay. So, I think eBay is good site to buy but be careful as ebay is not the actual seller, eBay is just providing the platform. If you dont read the fine prints, seller may sell you fake product, Or imported product without warranty.
Always pay by credit card only, you can also use netbanking / debit card as 2nd option but never pay by transferring money directly to seller account.
And check the reviews of seller before buying.
