I have stopped shopping from eBay , I used to shop from eBay in the past , the reason being, eBay provide jaw dropping prices for the products displayed on their site, which is enough to attract the customers online. Also, eBay coupon codes ranging from 7 to 10 percent discount are easily available on various websites and promotional tools to its
users. On E-bay, u can get specially mobile covers, pendrives And memory cards at a cheap price when compared to its rivals like Amazon, Flipkart, Snap deal. Now a days too, 7 percent coupon is widely present and almost accepted on every purchase made at eBay during festiveela on ebay.
Is it worth giving a try ? The answer is yes. You can order a product of your choice, specially the mobile covers, since it is available to you via free shipping. But I am sure, u will leave shopping within two or three purchases made on ebay, as u will get to see the quality and slow delivery , and delay in refund process and will see urself craving for ur hard earned money back.
In the august month, I ordered 32 gb memory card of class 10 for my android, which was available at the cheapest price on online on ebay, close to INR 210.
I was eagerly waiting, I received my order in 12 days, I opened the packet and shocked to see the memory card was lying in the open in the packet, and there were scratches also on the memory card. Leaving all this aside, I put the card in my Android, and checked the capacity , it was showing 32 gb and I was very happy, I saw the card was containing some songs and other files , initially installed in it.
I formatted the card , it showed that the card is corrupt, which then prompted to take the obvious action to call ebay customer support.
I called them and they told me that they have contacted the seller and the card is original, it’s me who has damaged the card and your money can’t be refunded. I complaint them, several times , they told me that they have forwarded the case to refund department, my money was not refunded back, it was mid September, I threatened them of going to the consumer court, hearing to which , they reopened my case, it was in the last week of my September, I got my money back.
On the whole, I will advice never to shop from eBay , as they provide used products, also the products are not genuine , mostly 70 percent are fake or used products , my experience with the eBay has been worst each and every time.
