I ordered an item on Snapdeal on 13 Oct, 2015. It was sent through Ecomexpress Courier.
I received a message from Snapdeal mentioning it. The shipment details were uploaded on the same day by the Ecomexpress Courier. The shipment origin was Karnataka. It took 10 days for the item to reach at Bhubaneswar. Meanwhile I have been checking the tracking status almost everyday. It was too late in comparison to any other couriers I have experience with. Even it crossed the maximum delay I have ever experienced - E-Kart logistics - 7 days. And finally on the same day i.e 22 October, 2015 the item was delivered.
Pros:
Handling of the package was good
Packaging was good,
Website interface for tracking is great
Instant tracking updates, no delay
Cons:
Too late delivery
The delivery guys behavior was a bit abnormal. He asked if I am the consignee, and I said yes. Then he handed me over the parcel. Suddenly he took away it from my hand and asked me what did I order, When I said what I ordered, he handed me over the parcel immediately. I didnt expect such absurd behaviour. If he was too doubtful about my identity, then he could have asked me for an ID proof. Giving the item & again taking it back and then asking what did I order is really abnormal for a delivery guy.
Its just OK kind of service.
