We visited Eden two Saturdays ago and immediately got a table (No crowds that time)
Our experience was very bad due to the following reasons:
Dishes took a long time to make
The starter (Cauliflower crispy) was very salty. So salty that we could not even eat one. When we told this to the waiter, he said that it should be OK. We insisted that it was too salty and asked him to taste a piece. He did that and said he ll replace it. So he took it away. By then, we decided that we ll skip this starter and told the waiter that we would like to cancel this cauliflower starter to which he said - "Sorry, I have told them to fix it, the chef will reduce the salt and then serve the same plate"
We were surprised to hear this - so we said we dont want it. After sometime, the waiter came back and said that the chef could not fix the dish and he ll cancel it.
When the soups and main dishes came, it was the same salty experience. When we called the waiter again and complained, he said (You have to believe this !) "NO one else is complaining...its only you three people..we have been serving the same to everyone else!" and walked away
I asked the waiter to see his supervisor or manager and he said we can tell him the complaints! Finally, we just ate and left since we did not want to ruin our saturday evening by raising an issue. We swore that we ll never visit Eden Besant Nagar again and have been telling friends as well
