Eenadu in telugu means ’’Today’’. Eenadu is the largest circulated daily in Andhra Pradesh.
Eenadu has become part of every telugu person. I see people who feel uncomfortable in their daily activities if they dont read Eenadu that day morning.
Eenadu comes with one main edition, district edition and complimentary paper(famous as ’vasundara’).In the main edition they cover all the political news (International, National, State news ), Business news (stocks, funds, industry news) and in the last page of the edition is sports page.
In district edition which changes from district to district gives district information.Vasundara edition covers news, suggestions for ladies and in the last page of that edition we can find the Cinema news. It also covers daily one topic like education, business, social news, health, judicial news etc (from experts point of view).
Many people get attracted towards eeandu by these things
1) Presentation of the news.
2) Coverage of news from different area’s.
3) Ladies get attracted by Vasundara.
4) Students like the sports news, cinema news.
5) Comic which is present in the main edition tells us about some important thing in a comic sense.
6) Sunday’s special magazine has many news covered, one crime story, a small story etc
Some people dislike Eeanudu because
1) It mostly supports one political party in andhra pradesh.So most of the news will be infavour of that party.
2) In the Cinema paper we can find more ads(mostly of the ETV’s serials) than news.
But Eenadu has much effect in the life of telugu people. I heard that it played the main role in changing/electing the CM of Andhra Pradesh (I was not born when Eenadu was started or It played such vital role in changing the CM).
