Ouch that hurts

There are many remedies for a sore throat. I mentioned one in a review I wrote earlier today and that is to gargle with listerine.

Another review I read mentioned gargling with salt water and this is also good. Salt water by the way is good for sore gums after having a tooth extraction. My mom always used water with a little salt in.

There are many good throat sprays on the market made to soothe the throat also. What they do is numb it so it doesn’t hurt when you swallow.

If you have a sore throat try not to talk too much and don’t try singing as this will irrate the throat even more.

Don’t drink liquids that are either too hot or too cold as this can further irritate, but of the two cold is better for you and some times s*cking on an ice cube can bring temporary relief.

If your sore throat continues on for more than a couple of days I would advice you to check with your doctor to be on the safe side.

Sometimes a person can get a sore throat from speaking too much, such as a public speaker or a teacher. You can also get one from smoking too much.

So the best thing you can do is rest your throat and know that it will soon feel better.
