The Efteling is the oldest amusement park in the Netherlands. It started with the drawings of Anton Pieck, who designed the fairy-tale part of the park. It is beautiful, and not very commercial. Small children loves the talking waste baskets, who are asking for your rubbish.
For older children there are of course also roller coasters and other more spectacular things-to-do. But the Efteling is not trying to add more altitude and loops to their attractions each year. They are opting for quality and diversity, to amuse the whole family.
You can amuse yourself a whole day. It is always crowded in the park, and sometimes that can be annoying.
