Egypt air can be termed as one ot the top 5 worst airlines in the world.
the staff is very non professional. they are all tired and resentfull.
the air hostess are sad but not rude like air india/indian airlines
htere is no inflight entertainment
THJERE IS NO ALCOHOL SERVED EVEN IN THE BUSINESS CLASS JUST IMAGINE.
THERE WERE SOME SOUTH KOREAN AND TAIWANESE PEOPLE WITH ME IN THE business CLASS FROM BOMBAY TO CAIRO AND THEY SEEM TO BE REGULAR TRAVELLERS TO ISRAEL VIA CAIRO SO THEY KNEW JUST WHAT TO CARRY WITH THEM AND KEEPO THEMSELVES ENTERTAINED.. all of them removed a big one litre bottle of chival regal whiskey and the air hostesses just went and got ythe sodas and the glasses and ice.... whiskey was just falling all over as even a second bolltel was out and distributed to all generously hanks to the korean people.
The food is baaaad ! I do not know what was good about egypt air as i am horrified and terrified to ever travel by egypt air again.
on my return from libya I was in transit in cairo and I landed late nght in cairo but no body was there to assisit me..well some how I got hold of some one and he just gave me a hotel voucher and asked me to stand outside the airport and wait for the hotel car to come and pick me up.
After one hour mant taxi people told me that no one will come and I will have to sleep on the pavement so I beter take a taxi and go to the so called 5 star hotel. When I reached to hotel it was a shabby real shabby 5 star and the staff told me yes they do have instructions to pick me from the airport but they do not have any car so then I would have slept atr the airport .
tThe hotel room also was very bad and greasy typpe you like the street side hotels.Even the first class/business class lounge at the airport is on the first floor to one corner and they serve only coffe and cold drinks and has to ambience of a posh place ..
Very very sorry egypt you are cursed to have a dictator to rule you all the time and specially some one like hosni mubarak
