Ek Ajnabee is is inspired from the Hollywood thriller ‘Man on Fire’ it is good to see the magican on the screen with his new look and best performance on the big screen.
a truth which todays generation does not understand that u can earn money but u have safe guard that money or your family have to pay the prize of the money u earn.
I was surprised to see arjun rampal and Amithabh Bachchan diffrent looks in the movie. It reminded me farhan akhtar of dil chatha hai who gave these style to our actors.
The first half is without doubt engaging. The sequences between Bachchan and the little girl, how she brings love in his life, This is particularly so because the child artist Ruchi Vaidya comfortably holds her stead in front of the superstar. She acts very natural. Post interval, the movie isgood. The expected crackers just don’t happen. No doubt, bodyguard a angry man unleashing his fury upon the kidnappers is gripping, but the way the story goes on and on like bollywood movie with no surprise.
Amitabh Bachchan & Arjun Rampal looks are excellent . Rucha Vaidya is sweet and likable, Perizaad Zorabian is ok. Rest of the performances is thikthak.
lThe technical aspects of the film are first rate. The film has a slick look and is embellished with a great background score. Music, commensurate to requirements of an action thriller. The film boasts of just two songs -- Tere Liye [rendered brilliantly by Kunal Ganjawala] and Ek Ajnabee, Mama Told Me -- and both come at the right places, thereby enhancing the impact. In fact, the placement of Tere Liye at several points of the story is just perfect. The Sanjay Dutt track, placed at the end titles, is very MTVish, in terms of composition, rendition and picturization.
The movie’s end has cameo appearances by Abhishek Bachchan, Lara Dutta and a song on Sanjay Dutt.
